Hey Guys,

Getting ready to install new shifter and need to gather up the fluids.

I have 3650..so I need appr 4 quarts of ATF..I'm gonna use Royal Purple Syn ATF. And I'm gonna change the diff fluid too, gonna get 4 pints of Royal Purple syn gear oil.

Question, Royal Purple site says I can get it at Pep Boys?? Suprises me they would carry such an expensive product, or do they order it??

anyway how much is the RP ATF per quart and gear oil per pint $5 $10??

I am not sure if Pepboys carries Royal Purple? Your 8.8" differentail
only takes 3 quarts.Your T-3650 takes 3.5 quarts I do belive.
I got my Royal Purple from www.jegs.com I think it was 7-8 dollar per.
quart. What shifter are you going to install?

I just picked up some RP at Pep Boys yesterday. It was $8.99 a quart for manual transmission fluid (synchromax).

Shouldn't you use the Royal Purple Synchromax Manual Transmission Fluid instead?

Depends is your car a automatic or manual?
I would go with Royal Purple for your transmssion.

Just take the plug bolt off and stick your finger in the hole to
see if you feel any transmission fluid that's what I did. Just fill
as needed or dump what is in there and refill it with a hand held
pump. The plug bolt is located right under the transmission on the
side of it.

pomppike.

If you have manual under the car...should have drain and fill plugs right side of transmisson, not sure on your year.

Put my RP in yesterday. My clutch has quieted down considerably and my shifts are smoother. Nice stuff.
