i have the chance to buy an edlebrock rpm intake upper and lower intake manifold, and im just wondering if its a good deal, and how much of a pain it is to do myself? will i need to upgrade my TB at the same time? how much of a power gain can i realistically expect? thanks alot.

you shouldnt really pay more than $400 for the intake. You should upgrade to a 65mm throttle body at the same time. You will see about 25-30 hp with the itnake and t-body. There will be a ton more top end power too. Its not difficult to switch the intake, but make sure that you take your time and do the best that you can.

I have an Edelbrock RPM upper & lower for $320 shipped...used about 17k miles. some corrosion on the water jacket ports but no leaks and will clean up nicely.
