RPM Outlet and UPR

I've almost bought parts from RPM but just cannot do it due to all the horror stories, there are so many good businesses out there Id be foolish to give RPM my business after reading about them here in the forums.

  :jaw: :( :nonono:

Yeah I'am still trying to get my Ford Racing Head changing kit. I sent back a set of cam gears for store credit and wanted to get the head set, and I sent back over 2 weeks ago and still havent heard or seen anything. I've always got what I ordered, but exchanging parts is a B***h.

On the other hand, I have been dealing with UPR now for the past 2 years and I have been meet with nothing but the highest level of customer service and professionalism. Their staff is knowledgeable and treated me great. Their shipping is much better and when I do have a problem they make every effort to make it right. If they can't make it right they sent you a new part at no charge and no shipping and even include a prepaid shipping label to mail the defective part back.

I buy a lot of stuff from UPR, mostly at their booth every year at FFW, and they seem like good guys to me. That's one reason I keep going back to them spend money there every year at FFW, not to mention my internet orders in between.

It VERY obvious that you don't know them then. :nono:

I used to work there and was friends with the owner for over 10 years.

Now, I wouldn't put UPR ANYTHING on my car even if it were given to me for free! :notnice:

Everything they sell is crapola

As for RPM Outlet, just do a Google search and you will never buy from them again!

well i just put UPR coil-over kit on. it seems fine. however.....

the manual brake conversion master cylinder has single flare us threads - 1/4" and 3/8" but of course 94+ stangs have metric double flare 8mm 10mm threads on the brake proportioner.

so i had to make the brake lines. no biggie, but everyone doesnt know how to do that. (a '1' on a scale of 10 difficulty). the kit should have included the lines or just mentioned the necessity to procure them.
