RPMs shoot up in between shifts

Hey guys,

I noticed that when I shift gears the engine revs to about 3k rpms. Is this normal?

Have you replaced your IAC recently? My 03 started doing that after I put an Autozone brand IAC on, and wouldn't stop until I got an OEM replacement
