Has anyone here used the rubber steering offset bushings on their rack and pinion? I have a new QA1 K member and am using the rubber offset bushings for bump steer. It scares me when I am attempting to tighten the bolts up because they compress and bulge out towards the top. I even used the larger washers from the OEM bolt and pins. Anyone got an idea? I do not want to have to buy solid ones unless this is OK and normal.
