rubber squeaking in shifter

I have a B&M short throw and early in the morning when I start the car (or when its cold) I get a rubber squeaking type noise coming from the shifter area. I am missing one of the four bolts that screws the shifter down, but would that make that kinda noise? Usually after the car warms up, the squeaking subsides; just is kinda annoying......Any ideas?

Do you have the rubber noise isolator in place? Cold articulated rubber can creak a little.

Yeah, the insulator is still in there....
