rubber thang ???

hi everyone,can anyone help me please,i need to find a part that is missing from my mustang,this large like rubber bung fits onto the plate which the drivers door latch mechanism clicks onto when you shut the door?..my passenger side has the rubber fitted but my side it is missing..this rubber would seem to stop the door rattling when closed..i have looked on ebay and cj pony and rockauto but i cannot seem to find out what it is called,anyone got any ideas??....Rob

have taken some pics but my card reader is not working..what i have done for now is take the passenger side rubber and fitted it to the drivers side striker.

local salvage yard. You could prob. get one for a few bucks. Call first - see if they have your make/model - if not, call ford. best of luck to ya

nothing like that here mate,ya dont exactly see a lot of usa cars in a breakers as we call them..

i have taken the rubber from the passenger side and refitted it on my side,but basically im still gonna need another..but i need to know if it comes with the striker..

Never seen that part before. My 2014 doesn't have those although I just might see if I can find them. I am not fond of the door rattle when I close it.

as i found out yesterday,i checked my door weatherstrip and found out its bent in like its deformed so it does not push against the glass when closing,causing a rattle
