Tire size. You running 245/45/17s? It's common. The lower control arms (front) on 94+ Stangs are designed a little different to allow larger tires/wheels. Also... 91-93 has larger wheel wells to keep the larger 16 inch ponies with 225/55/16s from rubbing. Hope this helps.

well, sorry I didn't metion the tire size, but yeah it's 245/45zr17, but it's not the tire that's rubbing, but the outer lip of the rim itself is, sorry didn't mention that either..

It's common, just gotta learn not to turn the wheel all the way.

These cars came with 15's stock...so gotta expect some problems with us all running 17's now

The rack limiters will prevent you from turning it all the way to the point of rubbing, good cheap investment!

They are not discontinued, as I just purchased some from my local Dealer a few weeks ago, and as stated above you can get them from 50resto too. I took my Service manual into the Dealer and showed them an exploded view of the steering rack and pointed to the limiters and they had them for me the next day. If I can find my receipt I will look for the Part # for you!

No Problem! I just finished up my fronts yesterday and I am sure my wheels would rub if it were not for those limiters!
