Hey guy and gals. My GF gave me her v6 rims to run Drag Radials on since she got some DD Bullitts. They are the stock 15's that came on the 99+ V6's and are in good shape.
I can't decide between the Nitto's or BFG's but think i'll go with the BFG's just because i'm not goin to be driving onthem other than to and from the track. My question is what size DR's can i run on a 7" wide rim? Would it be possible to run a 275 and if so, what side wall? 50 or 60? Any info would be helpful. Thanks

I wouldnt even run a 275 bfg on a 8 inch rim, 245 is probably pushing it on a 7 inch rim.

Guess i'll just run a 225 since they're drag radials and will hook anyways, but with a 60 or 50 sidewall?

I ran a 275x50x15 BFG drag radial on 7" V6 wheels.....1.77 60' and ran 12.89. They will work fine on the track Drop the pressure to around 12# and hang on

Thanks for the advice. What RPM did you leave the line at? And did you slip or dump the clutch?

5000 with a quick slip...set them to 12psi and give them a good burn on the first pass of the day
