Hey all,
So a while back I saw a 99-04 Mustang that had this side decal that had the mustang running and fading into the paint. I wanted this for my 2007 (vista blue is the color) but I could never find it. I was looking through a dealer and all they would want to sell is the solid white line that says mustang. Does anyone know if either a. I could just use the ones that a 99-04 used or b. buy them after market somewhere. Tried google and only could find the Mustang on the rear window. Any help is appreciated!

Yea that would work but I remember finding one that went from white to blue or blue to white which I thought was really cool.

Would one that was made for 99-04 work though if I wanted that specific look?

Edit: AHA! Found the site that I found a year or so ago. * Graphic Express - 1979 Mustang Indy Pace Car Pony Decals - Decal Kits theres the blue one that looked cool but wasn't sure if it would work on my mustang. Anyone have experience with it before?

The body styles are a bit different, but there is no reason why it would not work. If you like the look go for it.
I prefer a plain look, stealth if you will.

I agree. And anytime I see decals from the 70's all I can think of is; all decals, no performance and it makes me a little nauseous.

Not my intention . Just something that would replace the side stripe which is rather plain for me.

My GT has the emblem on the side, no stripes. That's it.
If I were going to do anything, I would take the emblem off. I like real stealth. Let them guess what you got.

I say go for it if you like it. I personally dont care for that logo, but I love seeing a new mustang with retro style decals and such on them. Pays tribute to their heritage.
