running power to different accessories

Instead of tapping into existing power sources to run my electric fan and gauges could I run a power wire from an amp. kit with a distribution block on the end?

You can pull power off your starter solenoid on the fender, both 12v and 12V keyed....personallly I would not pull any from a amp.

no not an amp what i was going to do is run a power wire from an old amp wiring kit that I have. The wire would come of the battery then brake of to the different accesories via a distribution block. Sorry if I didn't make that to clear thank for the response thought.

hmm i dont see where that would be a problem it should work just fine as long as you have 12V going to the dist. block

Just make sure you have the wire fused.
