Hey, got a couple of question's again for you guy's. When my car is running in park at a idle I noticed that it smells like it is running rich (smells like someone is holding a can of fresh gas right under your nose). there is no gas leaks present on the ground anywhere. I was hoping maybe someone could tell how to get it to stop running so rich? Also got another question, someone told me that I can get some parts that I need for my 88 fox body, of a earlier model explorer. Is that true, if so what parts can I get want to improve car without draining wallet to bad. Parts like (heads, rearend, and what ever else that is useful).I live just down the road from a salvage yard.

thanks

First things to check if you suspect a rich condition and there's no evidence of a leak are the condition of plugs, wires, etc., as well as oxygen sensors, fuel pressure, and it wouldn't hurt to pull codes even if there is no check engine light.
You can use several parts from an Explorer. The heads (pre 97 1/2 have standard GT40 iron heads, 97 1/2 and later use GT40P), intake, and throttle body can all be used. The differential can also be used, and I believe it uses 31 spline axles, versus the 28 spline stock axles in the Mustang.

Ok, I will check into these things that you had mentioned. As far as the explorer question goes, What would be better off to get parts of from (pre 97 or 97)?
All I really wan't to know is which one would work for a f303 cam on a stock 88 gt engine
