hello everyone..I need info. My friend gave me OBD II scanner as a gift, can i use it to my 1995 mustang? I read the manual of the scanner and it say's it will be compatible with OBD II vehicle or 1996 or newer vehicle, what should i do?
Is someone here Know's technical issue about the reader. She bought it at http://carcodereader.org should i gave it back to her or can i still use it? thanks in advance folk's.

This post is very very old. If you have a 95 gt/cobra you cannot use an obd II scanner

95 V6 is OBDII
95 V8 (GT/Cobra) is OBDI

Try read some OBD II reader review greg so would find exactly what your looking for.
