Well last night I finally got my car put back together and started it up. Set the timing on it to 14 degrees and seemed to be running great. After that i threw the spout in and was gonna start to do a code scan to make sure everything was working properly.
After I put in the spout the timing started to jump around, car ran rough and then died. Started it up again, same thing. Pulled out the spout and it ran fine.
So I was looking to make sure I didn't forget anything and found out that the vacuum line from the intake to the eemissions was not hooked up to the upper intake, vacuum leak. Plugged it back in and started up fine and ran fine with the spout in, but running very rich. After that I was trying to move it out of the garage so I put it in gear to back it out and you hear this very loud sound like the TB was full open or something and car just went crazy on the idle started to kind of buck.
I'm guessing that I need to let the computer clear everything out cause it ran for about 20 mins with a vacuum leak..... Could that be it or something else? I'm running an A9P right now and car is still auto for the time being. Pretty much I just want to get it running good enough to get it to another place to drop a rebuilt motor and 5 speed in.
Stuff that I have done to it so far. Replaced the lower/upper intake gaskets, new injectors, new EGR and emmissions sensors, new O2 sensors, new ECT/ACT sensors, new spark plugs, etc.
Sorry its so long, but its driving me nuts right now.
