Running rough

Well last night I finally got my car put back together and started it up. Set the timing on it to 14 degrees and seemed to be running great. After that i threw the spout in and was gonna start to do a code scan to make sure everything was working properly.

After I put in the spout the timing started to jump around, car ran rough and then died. Started it up again, same thing. Pulled out the spout and it ran fine.

So I was looking to make sure I didn't forget anything and found out that the vacuum line from the intake to the eemissions was not hooked up to the upper intake, vacuum leak. Plugged it back in and started up fine and ran fine with the spout in, but running very rich. After that I was trying to move it out of the garage so I put it in gear to back it out and you hear this very loud sound like the TB was full open or something and car just went crazy on the idle started to kind of buck.

I'm guessing that I need to let the computer clear everything out cause it ran for about 20 mins with a vacuum leak..... Could that be it or something else? I'm running an A9P right now and car is still auto for the time being. Pretty much I just want to get it running good enough to get it to another place to drop a rebuilt motor and 5 speed in.

Stuff that I have done to it so far. Replaced the lower/upper intake gaskets, new injectors, new EGR and emmissions sensors, new O2 sensors, new ECT/ACT sensors, new spark plugs, etc.

Sorry its so long, but its driving me nuts right now.

With a key on engine off I wasn't pulling any codes, used to pull about 5 before all the sensors.

I can't get it to do a engine running code scan, but i did have a check engine light.

I'm gonna try to check and make sure the vacuum line to the charcoal cannister didn't come off and start it up tonight after work. I noticed that the brakes were a little harder than they normally were, thats whats making me think vacuum still.. :(

your brake booster may have gone out. since you say your brakes are stiff and you were backing it out of the garage and it was making all that noise. ussually when you back up, you are going slow with the brakes on. check all of the vacuum lines and then look into that or the rubber hose that goes to it.

So after trying the rest of the basics i decided to try something else. Everytime I put the car in gear it freaked out, so I ******ed the 5 speed harness and just hooked it up, put it in gear and the noise went away, but car would end up loping and die. Took out the A9P (it might not have been making good contacts) and threw an A9S in for the time being, car ran fine, never started to lope, never died but I have a miss still. Checked the resistance on my plug wires and they were all fine.

Got a vacuum gauge and hooked it up on the vacuum tree (empty slot). Right before it would miss the vacuum would drop from 16 to 14 everytime, then you would see and hear the stumble. Sounds like I have a burnt valve.

Oh well rather rebuild another motor then slap another set of heads on a motor that has well over 160k on it.
