Hey gents. It’s my first time posting in here. I have a 93 Cobra that will run fine then just shut off and the only way it will start up is if I disconnect the battery and connect it again. I went through the process of elimination by replacing the tfi module, ignition coil, fuel pump relay and cap and rotor. Car will still not start up it just cranks. I’m now down to testing the ecm. Does anyone have a pin diagram for the ecm and what are the parameters for each test. I know it needs 12 volts for power but as far as everything else do I test for ohms to voltage? I hope its not a...

Sometimes my check engine light will come and shut down the engine. STUCK on side of the road. After it cools down, it will start and run. Never know when this will happen. Second time it has done this. New EGR valve and solenoid. Any ideas from any of you experts?

Code 64 - ACT (Air Charge Temperature) signal low or grounded. Bad sensor, sensor wiring on pin 25 shorted to ground, or bad computer.

As the title says, im getting code 64, I did some searching but im not totally clear, it says its the IAT but ive got an 89 5.0 in my fox. Is it the ACT on my car?

If so, can it be cleaned or does it need to be totally replaced?

I have not seen this one before and there appears to be little info on it. All I came up with is it can be used by the ECU to unlock/lock the torque converter.

Which ECU to you have and is the car a stick or auto? My immediate guess would be to chase down the Code 64.

ABS has nothing to do with the ECU. I know this because I installed an ABS system off a 95 into my 93.

Focus on the Code 64 and get that fixed. Clear the codes and then bring the car up to operating temp and rerun the codes.
