I noticed that i'm runnin really rich, so if i advance the timming will it help out? This has all happend since i did the heads. peace

well if your serious?? when i start it and while it's running it smokes and it smells like gas to hell. plus when i try to start it it wont start unless i push the throttle alittle. peace

your right i do need a tune, i'm 100% shure everything went right with the swap nothing wrong there except the tune, but like brian said need to get the tranny done first then the tune. peace

I think he was referencing simply a diablo sport chip for your OBDI stang, as opposed to the predator hand-held tuner for OBDII applications.

oh i didnt know they made them for the OBD I's? So what would be better the diablo? tweecer? or DFI? but for now i'll spend the $400.00 or so and do the SCT chip and tune. peace

Theres no way you need DFI yet your far from that plus its like over 2grand If I remember right. Just get the SCT chip from Chung and have him make you a street tune and a Nitrous tune for your car and you'll be set.

hmm your probem sounds like mine accept if mine dosent start the first time the foot is to the floor to get it to start and boy is the cloud of fuel big when it does fire. this is after my 190lph swaped in tank pump on a speed density car. thank thinks it still stock he he he
