so i picked up these used headers for a good deal but they have rust in them.. does this matter?, i cleaned them as good as i can but theres still rust in side. is there a way to get the rust out? like any kinds of solvents?

Theres always going to be rust in headers and exhaust parts, its just the nature of physics and the continuous condensation that runs through the parts. It dries and then rusts. I have heard some weird solutions to removing rust or neutralizing it, but I've never personally tried any of them. Here is a way that some guy tried and by the looks of it, it works. As long as the headers aren't bubling on the inside/outside, I think you are good to go!

:nice:

I think for every gallon of gas you burn you produce like a quart of water so moisture will always be there... especaily if its only driven for short trips. I wouldn't worry about it too much though since its on the inside. Just enjoy them.
