well heres some pics of my hunk of rust with some wheels and a 5.0.

im going to be washing my hands of this car,i just wish it could be sooner than later.any ideas?

ok well the first pic is of the pass side strut tower from the wheel well.and the second is the driver strut tower from th engine bay.

wow, thats really bad. I would suggest getting a new car. I got a roller because my shock towers were rusted, but not nearly as bad as that. Thats to the point where its not safe to drive anymore. Good luck with whatever you do.

what sucks is the body is really straight and im the 2nd owner and its a non option non a/c coupe.

well if your that set on the car, it is fixable, just alot of work.

A lot of foxes that I've seen are rusted out on the shock tower and or the frame rail. I guess we need to start restoring our beloved foxes like the classics, instead of throwing them away, as they arent producing fox mustangs anymore.

There is another member on here that had his strut tower fixed with the engine still in. Heres an extreme case of rust I found, if this can be fixed then anything can be fixed.

i have no problem getting rid of this thing.ive never had a stang that needed this much work.i hate it.

Holy crap, that car on cardomain is by far the worse frame rail/shock tower rust I've seen, and has been fixed with the worse sectioning I've ever seen. As a body man, I know that anything can be fixed, buuuuut do you really want to fix it when there are thousands of clean four cylinder cars out there begging to get some power under their skin
