Blew the engine today broke the crank in half, slung sumthing out of the oil pan so there is a nice hole there. Blew the timing cover clear off the car engine is getting pulled right now will keep ya posted of the carnage to come.

could have at least made up a story like you were running at the track pushing for an 11.99 run and right before you corssed the finish line your engine blew and you only got a 12.02.

sorry to hear about the car

Man its pretty bad I am missing a piece of my block on the front driver side. Took the pan down and its just pieces of main cap, cam bearings and piston. Oil pump is gone? Like I think it was the thing that put the hole in the block. I do not have a digital cam. I will take regular pics and then get it developed and then scanned.

Well since FFW decided to "step-up" SW and allow clutchless 5-speeds, I expect to see something very serious.

Seriously though, that sucks to hear Tony. Good luck with everything.

The thing I am going to do now is get the Ford Motorsport Long Block with the Turbo X heads on the engine and some other minor things it will not make too much more power than the old setup but the weight difference will be nice going back to the E cam instead of the B cam the whole engine is complete so hopefully in a week or so it will be in.

yes I do have to stay all Ford I can go to as high as a 310 C.I. but I cannot afford to really build it per class rules it would run me into the tens of thousands of dollars range. So this is the cheaper way out for now.
