Ok, this is the first time I got to take the car to the track. What a blast!!!! First impressions: I need a lot of practice!!! Keep in mind I did not use the juice (Zex) today!!!!!

So here are my results:

1ST Run

• R/T: 1.104
• 60’: 2.302
• 330: 6.517
• 1/8: 10.032
• MPH: 70.10

2nd Run

• R/T: 1.308
• 60’: 2.352
• 330: 6.572
• 1/8: 10.079
• MPH: 70.57

3nd Run

• R/T: 1.156
• 60’: 2.376
• 330: 6.627
• 1/8: 10.165
• MPH: 69.75

I did a couple more runs, but they were all like the above. Like I said I need a lot of practice. So I sent Scrming an email from my BB, and asked him for some tips. He had me do the following:

• Remove some air from my rear tires
• Increased my shift pressure up 20% with the XCAL2
• Launched at a higher rpm (above time slips was at 1800, I launched next at around 2200)

So by now I’m used to staging, dialling in, etc. The runs above were against Mustang GT’s. This time, I get paired with a 1994 Acura Integra on juice. I actually watched him check the system while we were staging. So on my best run, I did get a bit of tire spin, but I did spank that darn juiced Integra, details as follows:

Best Run

• R/T: 1.076
• 60’: 2.271
• 330: 6.466
• 1/8: 9.961
• MPH: 70.76

So what I took away from today was I’m officially hooked on going to the track. I need to improve my reaction time, and I think I can launch better. I also think I may switch to different tires due to tire spin. So next weekend, back to the track!!!

Definitely need A LOT of practice!
