S/C Install Progress

It's been a long and hard two days thus far, but I am finally starting to get things finished up. In some ways it was a lot more complicated than I thought, such as trying to remove an oil pressure sending unit, and in others easier, like taking out and changing fuel injectors. Here are a few pics. Really all there is left to do is clean up stuff and some misc hook ups. I have to tighten down and reattatch the coolant temp sensor, hook up the oil feed line, put on the s/c belt tensioner, put on both belts, and put back together the upper intake and the vacuum lines. After all that is said and done I just have to put on the power pipe and take it to a dyno. The only part I'm waiting on is my MAF, which still hasn't come in yet. I guess if anyone has any questions about the s/c install it would be a good time to ask since most of it is fresh in my mind.

if thats the stock strut tower brace, it won't work.

how'd the oil pan tapping go?

Why won't the stocker work? The oil tapping honestly was one of the easier parts. It took about a half hour. The hardest part of that was actually getting the hole started, after that it was mostly a breeze. The NPT was a bit difficult to use, but maybe because I was being really careful. I was taking my time and making sure I had it packed with grease. It also might of helped to have a hoist, the car was on jack stands.

what indaglow guages are thoes???

Actually they aren't indiglo gauges. Those are autometer gauges with the red bulb cover over the light. The gauges are...
4301 for the 20 boost 30 vacuum
4363 for the electric sweep fuel gauge

The only things I have left to do are hook up the discharge tube (while I will be doing tonight), drill the hole and hook up my intake (me and a friend are doing in the morning), hook up the vacuum line for my boost gauge, add oil, coolant, burp the coolant system, put the belts on (need to buy a new tensioner, I stripped it out trying to do this yesterday), and hooking up the MAF. Unfortunately PMAS is backordered on the 80mm MAFs so this will most likely be the last thing I wait on. This should be ready to run by Sunday night, and running the day the MAF comes in. I have my winter car still out and will be driving it until I get her on a dyno!
