can you take a na 2.3 engine rebuild it with the turbo2.3 internals, tap the oil pan, and slap a turbo on with the na heads and intake? but the wiring would have to be done too.
Long answer, there are more things that need to be done (which I'm not going into right now) but in general, the plan would "work". Though it's not the cheap or easy way to do it...
