Okay I posted this on corral but no answer. Anyway I did a s197 dash swap and was wondering if there is a way to use the gauges, more specifically the speedometer? s there a way to get it to work with the fox manual tranny and ecu? I was thinking maybe something like this could work http://www.dakotadigital.com/index.cfm/page/ptype=product/product_id=126/
Any help would be great

@RacEoHolic330

Might know something of these things. He's not using the gauges that you are but he might know something about the converters.

I don't see why the interface unit you posted wouldn't work with the stock VSS in the transmission. That unit would work nicely to calibrate the ppm output of the transmission to work with what the s197 speedometer needs to see in order to read the appropriate speed. That is the information you'll need to know to setup the interface properly: How many ppm your VSS sends based on the plastic gear attached to the VSS and how many ppm the speedometer is calibrated for as well as if it needs an analog or digital signal. Seems like a nifty little device.
