The highlight of my day is seeing a 98 CLEAN vibrant red svt in the parking lot when i take the trash out every night. Is that sad or what
My 94 looks like a olds 88 compared to that car

Is this a commentary on a nice Cobra or are you depressed in general? If the latter, chat about it with friends, family or even the gents on here. Unlike other forums, you won't get flamed for anything that's bothering you. That's why this is the best sub-forum on the 'net. PERIOD.

Otherwise, we're all like that. We know all of our cars' faults and see something a little cleaner appearing and it makes us a little sad (those of us with very limited budgets anyhow). I don't sweat it. Somewhere down the road you'll have a very minty ride of your own (though I'm sure your ride is just dandy).

Regards.

Depends on how much of a highlight it is...

Hissin is right though if it is the latter...

Myself, My car is FUGLY from anything closer than 75 feet... I do plan to get around that but it looks good from my seat... That is all that matters... If I had the $$ I would be looking at the all original 28k mile 94 mustang gt vert with t5 that is for sale near me for $9k asking right now, but I don't so I will keep and love my fugliness... hey at least it looks like me...

If it's really that bad, you can count on knowing that there is a guy out there that is driving his car WISHING that he was driving yours. (At least you aren't THAT guy!!!! He's prolly in a Honda or Geo Metro, to save gas money. See "Gas price woes" thread. Hahahahaha!)

i know exactly how you feel, i am that way for basically any mustang. every gt at my school i envy. one has a built 302, two with basic bolt on 4.6s, one is a fox thats modified from tail pipe to headlights. drivetrain, exterior, interior, etc.

i bought my car for decently cheap, 2500 out the door. but the money i am going to be putting into it to make it half as nice as one of them, i could of bought one like that and modified it.

my paint is shot, my car looks like its on fire when i start it. and every feature on it works half ass.

been thinking of running dumps so when i do a burn out it looks like the smoke my car puts out is from the tires. haha.

+1....

what made me feel good about my vehicle was when i took it to FFW this past year, first time i ever really SHOWED the car. and although i had imperfections, i had LOTS of lookers. my car by far is no trophy queen. but it turns heads, and certainly turns mine. i hate it when its broken, i love it when its not... just how the life of a mustang owner is
