I recently purchased a dash out of a salvage yard (87-93). I have already taken the dash completely apart and washed with palmolive and water. However there is still some crud that stayed on areas you can see. I don't know what it is. It's faint but I still notice it.

What I want to know is, what is a stronger, yet safe cleaner to use? I just don't want the color to dull out, or otherwise ruin the finish. If you know a for sure cleaner that will work, please let me know. Thanks

I've used Lexol Vinylex with good results. It does break up some grime when you use it.

It doesn't contain alcohol so it won't dry out the dash

Yes. It's in a blue spray bottle
