just got done fixing my right sagging door! wow it was a pain in the ass... those damn bushings are in there so tight you had to drill/grind them out... took me about 1 1/2 hours to do it... then getting the bottom pin took forever! due to not having no room to hit in! but it got done and now the door closes fine! i recommand 2 people... if you need to do yours

i used a

dremal
drill
couple long screw drivers
hammer
needle nose plyers

one job i hope to never due again!

im gonne feel your pain! i hope my driver door never does it!... really not that bad just getting the old bushings out! and get someone to help you... i just get mad easy when it comes to things like that.,,

damn its my passenger side that needs it. did you get those new pins from 50resto? i was going to that this summer while i had the die grinder out doing my block clearancing. sounds like a job!

i was but i went to advanced auto parts last night and i was brosweing the isle and i saw them there so i got them... it was like 4.98 for one pin... so like 10 bucks to do the job

I did my blazer one time... Its easy if you have a garage you can run a rope over a roof beam and hold the door up it makes a bit easier..

also get the snake attachment for the dremel.

Another thing, if you are handy with wood, you can build a cheap rack for the door, makes life alot easier.

Don't buy the pins from resto, they are literally the ones that you can get in the "help" section (you know all the little red packages).
I got the same set at car quest for half the price, and didn't have to wait or pay shipping.

i did that recently. i used a floor jack with a pad on it to support the door. i used a cordless dremel tool since there was no power outlet close by. if not for that it would have been a one hour job easy. and i agree that it would go alot smoother with a second set of hands to help out. i got the kit off ebay cheap from foxmustangrestoration.

My brother who has autobody experience did my driver door pins and bushings last year.

He cut both pins in half with a die grinder and just knocked out the old bushings with a punch I believe.He did not have to drill the old bushings out.
They are a press fit.

I assisted by holding the door steady on the floor jack.

Seemed fairly easy for him,but he`s replaced plenty in the past.

you got lucky... yea i know there i press fit... but the stock ones were in there!! i tried punching them out but it wouldnt work... i could only drill them out... if i could of just punched them out it would of been a breeze!
