The rear bumper on my lx is sagging in the middle pretty bad. I'd guess the middle of the rear bumper sags an inch or more from the corners. What's the best/easiest/cheapest way to fix this problem?
There's a metal brace attached to the bumper cover, that may be rusted. Replace it or what I'm thinking of doing is shaping some foam insulation (type of foam we use for cement walls) to kind of hold the bumper cover straight.
My 92 had the sagging bumper cover too. i used a piece of wood and wrapped it in rags and stuck in between the cover and the metal bumper. Doesn't sound real great, but it did work. Come to think of it, when I traded it off, that was still in the bumper cover. Doubt the new owner ever found it
