Need some help here. My series II Supercharger (used 10K miles takeoff) came with a set of guages but I cant for the life of me to get any of them to work. Does anyone have any info on Saleen guages? Are the 99-04 guages the same as 94-99? Do they use the same senders? The senders are hooked up but I get nothing. Saleen Support is a pile of ****, they refuse to answer or offer any help whatsoever. So any information at all would be helpful as right now I am looking at replaceing all of them with an Autometer set. Any diagnostic tips? Thanks

Post a question about them over at Mustang Forums/Saleen-Roush talk. There are a few Saleen techs that frequent the board that usually answer a lot of peoples questions.http://www.mustangforums.com/forumid_210/tt.htm

That guy with the yellow car as his avatar..... he does not even work for Saleen.

Mstng2,

Call Joe at Chicane and he will give you two or three things to try.

.....and just because they work for Saleen, that doesn't mean they know what they are talking about!! I've alreaedy had two different Saleen employees try to tell me that they never made an S351 Just food for thought

They did?!?

Wow, you learn something new everyday.

Next thing you know, someone will say they built Cobras, too...

I'll give Joe a call, I hate to bother him though he's busy as is. Here's more info if anyone has any ideas...I have these mounted in a pillar pod. The setup is from an identical year Saleen (2000) It is a Series II with the intercooler. The guages were purchased separate as there was a snafu and the seller never sent the guages etc. (long story) Anyway suffice it to say I hooked up the Intercooler temp guage to the sending unit on the bottom of the intercooler tank, (next to the radiator) I hooked the Boost guage to the sending unit under the intake/supercharger. Neither work. Last question, I'd like to add a fuel pressure guage also, it has a canister sender, anyone know where on a 2000 4.6 you would add this to the fuel system? Thanks.

Sorry for hijacking the thread, I blame Justin.....

Joe should be able to help you out. Some times the Saleen gauges are extremely touchy and don't always read correctly or at all. It might be in your best interest to go with a different set of gauges if Joe can't talk you through to get the set you have working properly. Let us know how it goes.......
