Saleen owners: Favor to ask

I am interested in getting the full Saleen body kit for my GT. The only problem I have is not knowing if my car will clear the driveway ramp with this kit.

The favor I am asking is if one of you would be able to measure the dimensions of all the parts for me. The height from the ground, front and back, and also the length, width, and depth of the front and rear bumpers. The easiest thing would be for some one with a Saleen to try and pull into my drive way but I don't know anyone that has a Saleen or anyone who would be willing to do that here in Brooklyn, NY.

I hope this is not too much to ask but thanks in advance.

I have a Saleen kit and a steep incline or my DW..

Measurements will not help you since ride heights very from car to car.

I can tell you this if your worried I have a extremely steep driveway and I just go in and out sideways or 1 tire at a time EVERYDAY.

I had to do this when i had my chevy Extreme also and i lowered it even more then it was originally FYI a beeer can could not pass underneath

Just be careful you will not have a problem

Just a word to the wise, Saleen kits are notoriously difficult to prep and paint. The shop that painted my Roush kit said if I walked in with a Saleen kit they would have told me they couldn't do it. If you like the Roush kit, go with it. It fits perfectly the first time. Good luck with it

i've got th saleen kit with a 2 inch drop and i can clear my dirveway which has a steep incline. i rub the converters everytime in go out though

are you talking about genuine saleen or replica saleen

genuine saleen. the stuff they sell to the public aftermarket is garbage. be prepared to drop atleast a grand into the prep work and then after that, good luck getting the paint to stick to it. Im not saying it can't be done, but it takes much more time, money, effort, and frustration to make saleen kits look like they should.
