Hey guys,

I am trying to figure out a fair value for my car to sell it. My driver's license is about to get suspended from continuous speeding tickets.

It is a 2001 saleen sc281. It is fully loaded with chrome 18x10 option. Brand new this car's MSRP was +$49,000.

I have all service records and this car has a bumper to bumper warranty untill 75,000 miles. She has never been in an accident or had any problems. She has absolutely no modification to the engine. The only mods were Brembo 13" brake kit and real HID lights.

I love this car but situation forces me to sell it. I also have a few pics if someone can host it for me. Oh yeah, the car has 44k miles on it. I looked at some price guides and they quoted me like $30,000. I got this from NADA. I don't feel like I can get anything more than $28k. Any input will will appreciated. The car is in PRISTINE condition. I am an ANALFREAK.

Good lord more then $30k for a used 01 saleen with 44K miles....I am with you I dont think more then $28k

ide have to guess around 30k, give or take 1k..

My father picked up his 02 Saleen SC281, in pristine condition with only 6k miles(Torch Red) for $28k
Before looking around, this seemed to be around the going rate.

not to be rude, but it seems to me you are more interested in some one using thier bandwidth to host your car so you can sell it than you are about peoples opinions of the value.

since you need someone to make up your mind on how much to sell it for cause you cant use your own brain....I'd say.....sell it to me for $1000

Well, I am gonna need to sell my car and probably get a 4 banger that gets me from point A to B with great gas mileage. Thinking about my neighbor's integra because I know it's in good condition... So imagine if you had to give up your car for that. I NEED to sell my car yet I don't want to. So shet, shoot me for trying to post pics. And this will be my first time posting pics on the internet.

AND... I thought that this would be a good place to get a fair value of my car so that I can put an ad in autotrader. So are you gonna help me if not then you are a bit ch

Why not eBay it and put the reserve at 25k? I'm sure you'd get a lot more looks than AutoTrader due to a more "casual" crowd of prospective buyers. <shrug>

I definitely agree with going the eBay route. More buyers willing to put up $$$ for specific type vehicles like a Saleen. Oh yeah, there are websites where hosting pics are free.. go search for one and do it.
