hello,

i have been converting my 2004 Mustang GT into a Saleen. i have done all cosmetic and everything possible except the Saleen Series IV Supercharger. i am getting ready to order it. my car has 22,000 miles on it and everything is good. do i need to perform any mandatory drive train upgrades before the supercharger or am i okay at first? thanks for all your help

I also agree on choosing a different blower.

I agree it is over priced... but i know some people and i can get it all.. (the blower kit and gauges for 4,000. instead of the regulate 5,000.) and plus i want to make the Saleen a Complete Clone... going with a different one just doesnt seem right. so back to the first question... will i need to do any power train work?

no drivetrain work is needed.

i really hope you're going for all looks and no power b/c that blower is a HUGE waste of $4000. why not just have a non s/c saleen clone like mine was and upgrade to a good blowerfor the saem amount of money and have a lot more power potential

Oh stop, the blower isn't that bad...its a Twin Screw and will easily add 100hp with the 10psi pulley.

BUT if i were buying it brand new and paying full price i would get a KB
