Actually, this is the recent announcement that pertains to the Great American Run, and that Molly's doing the New York to Las Vegas route in her Molly Pop Saleen.

Oh, and actually her car is an SC car -- she just has the Extreme 5-spokes and some of the other goodies.

What I'd like to know is how much Molly paid for her special edition Saleen? Does she really earn that much salary working @ the Saleen Store to be able to afford a $75K+ vehicle? Or was this a "gift" to her because she is Steve's daughter? If so, then did she pay the requisite gift tax on it?

I bet she is easily making $75k+ working for the company.

But if she is not and the car was a gift....

You can give away $12k per person (filing single) or $24k per person (married filing jointly if you gift split)

Obviously, the Saleen is over the limit, but you can still give away @$1M over your lifetime before you have to worry about paying "Gift" taxes.
