Good Evening,
Can someone please help shed some light on the cost to replace the Supercharger ( that comes stock ) on a 99 -2004 Saleen S281 ?

I am in the Market to purchase one and want to plan for the "Worse case scenario" if the Supercharger was to quit

Also ( total Newbie question ) - If the Super charger does go out, can you still drive the Car ( and just unbolt and remove the Supercharger?

Thanks so much for all of the help and insight

Those blowers are among the worst blowers to ever hit the market in terms of efficiency. The 99-04 units are no longer in production. If your blower died, the best option would be to upgrade to a Kenne Bell, Whipple, or a TVS.

You cannot drive the car without the supercharger

Have an upgraded version available. The early versions used an mp90. I have an mp112 which is larger, but fits on a saleen manifold.

eaton and magnuson created a joint effort blower the series 2 m90 is the result. the mp112 is also a magnuson/eaton hybrid and was used in ford products also corvettes

The mp version was not an oem option as I understand, it's an aftermarket upgraded case using the Eaton rotor pack.

Here's a shot of my own mp90 S/C I removed from my 2002 Saleen. You can see the mp90 stamping. The second pic is my mp112. They are almost identical with the exception of a longer length on the mp112.

Do you still have this m112 that will bolt up to the saleen lower manifold, or know where I can get one? I'd like to upgrade from the m90 to m112 thanks
