I'm just wondering about the Saleen Speedster Package. What would they look like on the new Mustangs? Any pictures would be great and you can email to me through PM or at sly_man_17@yahoo.com for some privacy if someone works at one or so. I dont want anyone in trouble cuz of how much respect I have for others. I'm just in love with them Speedsters. I'm likely to be in the market for one even though I just cannot wait since I'm pretty impatient. I'm liking the E series as well.

I had the 93 Spyder which I got into an accident with I'm looking for another one as well, but just cannot find the "perfect" one.

I guess everyone was so impressed with your eloquent writing style and sophisticated sentence structure we withheld comment.

Instead of calling this forum a joke how about you refine your question so it makes more sense. The attitude you have demonstrated here usually causes other users to ignore you and your thread(s).

I have no idea what a Saleen Speedster Package is, but here's a reply so you don't get too lonely.

Is this forum less or more of a joke now?

I hit again to find out what the speedster package was. Guess I Still Don't know. My guess would be to go to the saleen site http://www.saleen.com/index.html and check around for the parts there and if you "search" 2005 Saleen (in this Forum) you will find some info and pics.

I think Saleen used the term "Speedster" up until last year, but they are not calling their base package "Speedster" anymore.

thanks for that info and after more careful research, i have found that they will be making a speedster package but it is "tbd" so therefore i will just have to be patient and just maybe go ahead and by myself a hardtop version as well.

Maybe some of you need to do a little research on cars.....a Spider or Spyder usually refers to a Convertable sports car. Spider (as in Alfa Romeo) is a two seater and Spyder (as in Mitsubishi, MR2 & Porsche to name a few) is a four seater usually. The Saleen Speedster Package looks like it was put on the convertable, thus the Spyder designation. Finding a '93 model will probably be difficult, but a '96 and up seems like there are a lot with the Saleen conversion kits on them out there.

Just because you have never heard of the car he mentions (and I had not till I researched it), then don't Dis the guy! I am a car guy from way back (Muscle cars, sports cars, sport sedans, etc. American, Euro & ***) and know a lot about many cars out there, but you cannot (and I am in this group as well sometimes) know every car variant that has ever been produced from the factory or in the aftermarket sector. I do not bash others for my lack of knowledge, but if I do know a fact I will let them know they are incorrect. I've been wrong once or twice, but the doctors say I'm much better now! Stay in there slyman! There are a lot of nice people here. My two cents!

thanks man!! very much appreciated!! im hanging in there still and i really care less about them guys bashing. i just know enough about saleens and just wanted to ask a simple question and this is what im getting ya know? i have had alot of cars in the past and finally found a place in my heart which is those mustangs after driving quite a bit of cars. and i actually still do. i even almost went out and bought a GTO but my heart told me to stick with the stangs. so there that explains pretty much.
