I have yet to see pics of the whole kit, so I thought I'd post mine. Kit comes with a nice 60 page installation manual with plenty of pics. Its really cool how the compressor, intercooler and intake runners are all one piece, I had thought previously they were seperate pieces all bolted together.

Sweet, thanks for the pics of the kit. When do you plan to install it and then dyno that sucker? Will you be sending your PCM into Saleen or using another tune?

I'd install it, if I had a car. (Stuck waiting for an '06)

For starters, I'll send it to Saleen, they give you a Fed Ex box and what appears to be a prepaid priority overnight shipping label.

Then I'll have SuperTune Performance tune it (www.supertuneracing.com). They are the crew that got their '05 to 485RWHP with a Vortech.

Regards,
Toby

What's the risk of supercharging a stock 2k5 GT? I've been thinking about doing this to mine (set to arrive in a few weeks), but I don't want to put too much stress on an engine that isn't built for it.

The Saleen is only 4 psi of boost, not a lot of stress at all on the new engine, and still puts out 430 rwhp. I'd say it's the safest, most efficient, and best looking SC on the market for the new Mustangs.

Polk Thug - I'd love to have higher resolution pics of that kit if possible.

Also, how did you go about ordering it? Straight from Saleen or did you get it from a local dealer? What was the turn-around time on your order?

I want one too !!!

The Saleen Supercharger is beginning to grow on me. I am pretty much stock right now but I have a couple of parts that I have not put on yet. I have the Steeda cold air kit and the Steeda underdrive pulleys. I have not taken the parts out of the packages yet. Should I return the Steeda and get the JLT CIA? what about the Steeda pulleys will they be a good match with the Saleen supercharger? or does Saleen have pulleys that I should use ? I would like to get all matching parts. I do not want a bunch of different parts under the hood. So what would be the best set up?

Cold Air Intakes are a thing of preference, some people will buy anything as long as it makes the most power and others will not buy something better than another due to brand loyalty.

I picked the JLT because I was convinced that it made the most power from what I have seen others state (with dyno info to backup), it comes painted, great value for the performance ($150 for the kit not painted) and Im supporting a small business.

If you would like to keep your saleen kit for a possible Saleen SC you'll be fine, it may not be the best combo with it but that would be almost negligable when putting 400+hp to the pavement.

If you buy or keep Underdrive pullies for use with a Supercharger you are looking at decreasing your boost levels and your power considerably.

Yep, I'm in "Car Purgatory"

Sold my Bimmer on April 1, and didn't realize how difficult it was to buy a Mustang GT these days.

I won't even mention all the other 05/06 parts I have laying in the garage to stare at.

Toby

Man I feel ya!!!

I've got pulleys, gears and my Predator gathering dust! Dunno if my car will run well enough again to risk putting stuff on it, but I'm DYING to put a Saleen or Procharger on it!

You left off:

"Annual membership. $74.99"

You can typically get things for 10% of MSRP anyway at distributors.
