Hey guys,

I'm thinking about getting a Saleen S281 wing. Does anyone have any pics? I've seen a couple on the net, but I'd like to see one on a Stang without the full Saleen kit.

Thanks!

Here are a couple shots of my '03 GT with it's S281 wing. No other Saleen bits on it. It took me a while to make the decision as I wasn't sure either how it would look on an otherwise stock GT. Though I do have a set of Saleen side skirts waiting to go on...should have those done by the end of the month (I've been saying that since September though).

Heres a bunch from mine. I think it's the best spoiler for our cars.

No. It covers the rear cutouts and creates new cutouts for the side that can only use ONE set of $340 tips.

Dude, that's a sharp combo...Roush and Saleen. Best of both worlds.

GREAT pics guys! The wing looks real sharp on our cars. How much did it run you guys for the wing + prep/paint/install etc?

I can't say for sure, as mine was all done at the same time, but i'd imagine $200 for the wing and another $200 for world-class paint.

This depends where you go, and how much prep work is needed. In my case:

I paid $200 for the wing itself.

The body shop I go to ended up charging me $500 for prep, paint, and install.

They had to do a lot of prep because the plastic form wasn't great. Every time they shot it with primer, they'd find more pinholes in the surface. They'd sand, fill 'em in, reshoot, repeat...did this a couple times...then finally it was ready for paint.

So once all was said and done I paid about $700 for everything. But it looks awesome.

$700

Thats alot! Up here in Canada, that would be close to $1,000 for a wing. Hmmm.

That also bought a paint job that is better than the car's paint it's on.
