Nothing better than a Mustang...

We do live in an amazing country, I was thinking that very same thing when I was on my little road trip.
I am partial to California, with it's epic weather and incredible scenic diversity, but no matter where you live in the United States there is fun stuff to see and do, and if not right where you live, driving less than a day will get you to some amazing places.
All you really need is some gas money and a Mustang...

Yeah, I live about 3 hours from the North Carolina Beaches and about 3 hours from the North Carolina Mountains. I would really love to take the Mustang to the Blue Ridge Parkway and give it a run.

I have a newborn baby and all, so I'm going to have to wait at least until I get her in a forward facing seat so I can squeeze her and the Misses into the car. Or, I could just say screw it and force my younger bro to go with me on a man's weekend......:nice:

When I had my new baby I had her in the front seat, but I unplugged the airbag on that side first (it was a 2000 GT vert, my new one has a sensor which turns it off automatically).
Just make sure if it's a vert to get one of those seats with a sunshade built into it...

I used an awesome program called ArcSoft Panorama Maker 4.
Take multiple pictures overlapping each one, and this program puts them together beautifully...

The bay area in general has far more than it's share of postcard picture taking spots...

I think even when it says you're empty, you still have like a gallon left. I ran mine all the way down before, and it only took 15 gallons to fill. Did you fill yours all the way after you hit two miles? How many gallons did it take?

If you find yourself in the Half Moon Bay area, check out Princeton by the Sea, a couple towns over. There is an awesome fish & chips place. Don't know the name but there's only one. Keep it a secret.

Oh, and if you're in the city, check out Bernal Hill........definitely off the beaten path and drop dead twin bridge views.
