Sat. NHRA Qualifying

Just got back from it. John Force didn't make it this weekend,...... Only one that didn't qualify fast enough. 17 Cars & only 16 spots. And I bought abunch of his stuff too. First time I've ever gone too. FREAKIN INSANE!!!

Ya, there was only 17 funny cars & 16 spots. I think the differnce from 1st to 16th was a 4.05 to 4.15.

I got HDTV for the Finals. T.v. is almost just as good. I went on the qaulifying day to see more of the cars.

it is insane to see those cars run! this is the 1st in 4 years i didnt go. maybe next year tho? peace

Dude! There isn't a subwoofer or amplifier made that can remotely approximate 1/10th of 1 percent of the sound and power of a pair of top fuel funny cars blasting off the line. I went on Friday with a couple of friends and my wife. One of the guys and my wife had never experienced nitro cars before. It was fantastic!

I bought a hat and managed to get sigs on it from John Force, Robert Hight, Ron Capps, Tony Schumacher and my boyhood hero, Don "The Snake" Prudhomme.

This is true, no sound system can do that. I'm jelous of the hat, I waited awhile but never saw any of them to get mine signed.
