After my t5 swap i want to do something to bring my power into the high 300's... should i dont a vortech sc.. if so which one or a trickflow hci.. im trying to keep it within 2-3 k for now.. thanks

I must be the only one to disagree... If i had it to do over again, I would do a blower first. Once you start digging into the motor, all the small headaches that come with it are not to far behind. Just my .02 cents..

this is not exactly what you ask for but i have a set of afr 165's (58cc), cobra intake, 65mm tb, 70mm cobra mas, 24lb injectors, comp cam (don't have the specs handy), 1.5-inch shorties, 1.6rr, fuel pressure regulator and a dyno tune and i'm putting down 308hp/330ft-lbs at the rear. this is approxiamately 365-370hp at the flywheel. oh, this is on 117K mile orignal engine.

I think the logic is=When you do blower first, then you have to tear apart the top of the motor and all the blower stuff to do your hci later. So it saves more headache to do the hci, get it running nice, then do the blower and if you have issues, at least you know its not your hci stuff. Know what I mean???

You don't have to tear half the motor apart to put in a blower - just the front accessories. It's not nearly as involved as a head installation.

I did it in this order:

intake
supercharger
heads

:) I didn't have any kind of plan, i just threw stuff at the car when I felt like doing something.

The blower on the mostly-stock engine (although i did have exhaust, tb, maf, etc.) was an absolute blast. I actually wish I never upgraded stock heads, because once I did my power kinda blew up and I've been pegging mass air meters, running injectors dry, and so on and so on. Now I'm onto upgrading the blower to keep up with everything else
