grady style

my caprice failed emissions. :notnice:

i got some guaranteed to pass :nice:

the instructions say use it in a tank, and then after the tank has gone empty, fill up and get it tested again

i suspect i should actually go back on the rollers while it is in the gas

please advise :hail2:

Never heard of guaranteed to pass. Too bad you don't live in Oklahoma. They don't have emissions testing. I'm from there, and my GT is still registered there, and I went to the trouble of registering the Cobra there through the mail. :)

You know, I never thought of that before. I live in FL so we don't have the emissions testing, but I guess someone could go get a PO box in another state, register their car and license to that address then they wouldn't have to get tested anymore! Sure beats the pants off replacing H pipes/Mid pipes every one or two years!!

On what gases did it fail? I put a bottle of alcohol with a quarter tank of gas and it passed fine with one hollowed out cat

Well, after replacing the plugs, wires, air filter, and putting in GTP, it passed with flying colors today. The tank is still full and still has the GTP in it.

now all i have to do is get the mustang to pass ...

I'd be surprised if you could get insurance doing that or if you did the insurer most likely would claim fraudulent representation when a claim is filed. Besides, who's checking the PO box for you?
