I searched, so we can skip that suggestion ;) Sometimes it's tough finding specific info

Anyway, I need to know exactly everything I need to mount a fuel pressure gauge on my schrader valve.

Through searching I found the size of it is 1/16 NPT. I'm here at work and haven't uncaped my valve at home on the car, so what do I need specifically? 1/16" NPT nipple, then attach the gauge to the other end? Or does the 1/16NPT fitting I buy screw on where the original black cap was?

Now once I get one piece of hardware on the schrader valve, does it need one more piece to hook up to my gauge or is that all?

Now lastly - I'm sure I need to remove the pin, so how do I go about it? And when I do - will the gas stop spitting at me or do I have to work in the rain? :p

Hey man!

First-you have to pull out the Shraeder valve, So the 1/16 adaptor can fit in there.
Once the fitting is in there-They you install the 45 degree elbow to angle the gauge or the gauge itseklf straight onto the adaptor fitting-DONE!
Use lots of teflon tape............And do not overtighten it. :flag:

Have to be honest though!

Have to be honest though!

i never really felt comfortable riding around with the gauge mounted to a fuel line, Ya never know-When it might just give, and then the thought of gasoline spraying right onto an alternator-Never sounded attractive-Ya know. "POOF"-and its over!
So-To check the pressure and remove it-Was my bag-Just knowing-Spontaneous combustion couldnt happen-Like that-Makes me sleep bettter @ night!

Just my 2 cents-Anthony :flag:
