Why would my Schrader valve be whistling like this? The whistle goes away at idle, but my idle drops down to about 500 rpms. I do not smell any fumes, nor does it feel like air coming out... It just whistles. Maybe it is something else in the area, but seems like the schrader valve when I put my ear down there. Could it possibly be my IAC? Its loud as heck, and my idle is pretty low and rough. Anyone else had this happen?

Guaranteed it's not the Schrader valve. More likely the TB or from the air intake tube.

It has to be the IAC then, because the whistle is coming from right there! I was wondering, because if the schrader valve was leaking somehow there would have to be fuel coming out with it. Anyone else had their IAC whistle like that? Its loud and Ive never seen it happen before to know why its doing it. Guess they arent too expensive to replace anyway. I will tighten all the throttle body and EGR bolts to be sure I dont have a leak. Thanks for the suggestion.

So I replaced the IAC (not as cheap as I thought at $87), and the whistle is gone. Now I have to reset my idle, cause my car is idling like poo. Thought I would follow up even though not too many seemed interested in the subject.
