Scratches in the Side Windows

Hi Guys

My GT has a line of vertical scratches in the same area on both the drivers and passenger side windows. It seems like one of the guides or pads inside the door is causing it. Have any of you guys had problems like this? Will waranty cover it?

Yeah, I have the same problem. It's like there are dust and rocks that get in there and scratch the $hit out of it when you raise/lower it.

I've tried to clean it up, but the scratches still happen it squeels really bad too. They go away for a few days after I wash my car, but then come back??

yup, same problem here. i have my windows tinted and i think it is just the dust that is scratching up my tint.

are you talking about stress cracks on the triangular quarter windowS?

On my passenger side, something tore a hole in my tint :Shrug:

There's dust and crap that gets on the rubber pad that makes contact with the windows. and when you roll the windows up and down, it makes nice big scratches..But they all disappear when I wash the windows.
