SCT or Diablo super tunner?

I have or will soon have had a Diablo Preditor Sport Tunner for my 99 Mustang GT.

Now that I have an 04 Cobra I woundering if the Diablo is the way to go...or go with an SCT tunner. I'm leaning towards the Diablo because I loved my GT tunner and I familiar with it.

Big question is: "What about the dyno gains for either on a near stock Cobra?"

I got 420 rwhp and 400 rwtq with just the Predator Performance tune on my Cobra that had CAI and MAC catback. Predator can also datalog, OBD code reader, and a whole bunch of other stuff I haven't a clue about... I'd buy it from a dealer that offers custom tunes though. Worth the extra money IMHO.

Nice! Ok so we are talking about what? 20rwhp for the tune. I'm assuming our CAI was about 10-12hp and your catback was about 15hp. So a stock Cobra is about 360 to 380rwhp. GOT TORQUE! Good lord. I LOVE TORQUE!

Torque. Dat was one coooool movie. Da producers axed me to do sum stunt riding for da movie but I was too buzy. Ya knowz how it iz.

Both handheld tuners are good products, but my vote goes to the Predator. I purchased mine from Joe (jsturbo03) locally and just run the canned Predator 93 octane "performance tune" with fuel added to get the AF where I wanted it. On the 03/04 Cobra's, you will realize substantial HP and TQ gains with the Predator if you add a catback and CAI. These three mods (caback, CAI, and Predator - total cost less than $900) added 67rwhp and 40rwtq over stock on my 03 Cobra.
