Next week I will be ordering a SCT programmer. What I am wanting to know is what are the adjustments that can be done with it. I have a auto and want it to shift firm. I havent seen what can be adjusted with the programmer for the tranny, All I have seen is shift points. Disabling the traction control with the programmer does that mean that when the car is started the TC is off and can be turned on with the switch? I am going to get the SCT from alternative auto. from what I am understanding they come with 3 tunes. Does that mean if i want to tweak something that I will have to over ride one of the tunes?

You should just call alternative and ask them.

It does depend on what SCT flash tool you get. The older versions of the 9415 hold 3 tunes, the beta also hold three tunes and have some user programmable options. The newest 9415 SF A and B units have spots for three tunes but I have to look into it further because there does not seem to be a way to get them in there without converting to a 9400 custom tuner. This would kind of defeats the purpose of the full complement of user programmable options.

I have the most updated code for the 9415 SF 05/06 which fixed a CEL and Wrench light on the 06's. It should be available from SCT in the next major update if it's not already.

Go to this page at SCT http://sctflash.com/product_SF.php for info on the user adjustable options.
