Pretty much in the same boat you are man :(, i was really mad about this, plus i didnt feel crap from the programmer, I feel ur pain.
The biggest problem is not the programmer but the tune. I'm not sold on the mail order tunes. Some are better tha others but my car literally chnaged stripes after my dyno tune. The tune loaded on my Xcal was C-R-A-P...hell the 89 octane tune had a nasty miss at WOT...found that out when I tried to pass a Blazer on a two lane road and he nearly kept me behind him. Since the dyno tune even the 89 tune pulls better than anything I had previously.

Most mail order tunes are crap I agree.

I tried the tunes they sent me so I could decide if I might want to keep it and I lost power plus whatever rpm you were at when you pushed in the clutch it would hang there for like seven seconds then it would drop to 1,500 rpm and stay. Only good thing it did for me was shut my check engine light off.
I kinda wanted a tune cause I got a 100 shot Zex wet kit on the car. Came with the car when I got it. I haven't tried it yet the other guy ran two bottles through it without a problem. I'm kinda debating on weather to keep it or sell it and get somethin else.
How much would a do it yourself PI heads and intake swap cost?
