sct tuner question

do the sct tuners have the ability to cancel " check engine " lights? I've been looking at some forums etc. on this and have'nt seen it mentioned.

Yes, they sure can.

And you can use it after the tune at any time to record codes that have been thrown as well.

Thanks Madhouse, good to know. It sounds like it will be money well spent. Not really planning any mods on my 05 gt manual for a while yet, but being able to default TC off , improve the drive by wire throttle response plus a little more power will be worth it.

TC can't default to off. If the tuner turns it off, it's off - - no turning it back on with the switch. It can be re-activated in the tune obviously, but it essentially disables the switch when turned off.
