can somebody help me out with understanding the difference between the sf3 an xcal 3 tuners. i know that the sf3 comes with preloaded tunes but ive also heard it can be set up to use custom tunes. However the xcal 3 is only for custom tunes. are the preloaded tunes good enough? or should i just buy xcal3 and get a custom tune? These things are really confusing me right now. any help would be great thanks

the Xcal3 SF3 has 3 preloaded tunes and can do 3 custom tunes. The 3 preloads do pretty good for the limited tweakability you have. I have a 93octane tune loaded in my 01GT now and coud feel a complete difference from stock. If you wanna tweak a whole lot more take the SF3 to a tuner and let him do what he has to. He'll load the custom tune into the SF3 and youll be able to switch between the 3 preloads or his 1 custom tune.

ohh i got ya thanks. so how many custom tunes can the sf3 hold? just 1? while the xcal can hold 3 custom tunes?
