I was wondering if the x3 custom tunes that are optional when you buy the flasher, are really any good for cars with every bolt-on made along with VT stage 1 cams? Does SCT really do their homework with how the parts work together or do I have to get a custom tune from a mustang builder/tuner like MPH(which won't return my emails for some reason), JDM, ect.?

vt stage 1's going in this weekend!:nice:

I want the most hp without a dyno. I just don't think my car is crazy enough for a dyno tune. by the way, I do have a wideband installed on my car as well.:D

Thanks for the help!

If you get cams your going to have to get it either Street tuned or dyno tuned. Every car is different so It's hard to have a generalized off the shelf tune. I bought the X3 and put thier tune on! lol it was horrible as far as shifting goes. It would wind out first gear in partial throttle to about 3.5 grand and then shift so hard on the STOCK settings. you'll need to get it tuned!

Yup, I got mine from cushmanmotorsports.com. They are the VT grinds with a different name from CMS right above.
I wanted to get a tune from MPH, but he still only sells the excalibrator2. I wanted the new X3 that is soon to replace it.
